Wimbledon is the third Grand Slam tournament of the season and the only one still played on grass: run by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in south-west London, with the Lawn Tennis Association, over two weeks starting either on the last Monday in June or the first Monday in July.

It is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, held since 1877, and the only major with a night-time curfew: play stops at 23:00 local time, under floodlights since 2009. Competitors follow a strict all-white dress code, advertising around the grounds stays minimal, and the ball partnership with Slazenger, running since 1902, is the longest in sport. Line judges were replaced by electronic calling in 2025.
